Vehicle of the Month
 Sims Metal & Waste Recycling
one of the world's largest recycling companies with operations as far away as Austrialia
& the USA
have just taken delivery of their first Scania in over 7 years.
Their UK operation centres are based in
Nottinghamshire & Swansea with recycling sites in the West Midlands along with their head office in Long Marston
near Stratford-upon-Avon.
With a fleet of over 120 trucks in the UK,
the new Scania R480 LA 6x4 MNA, supplied by Keltruck's
Tony Biddlestone, is the latest edition to the fleet. Painted in traditional
Sims metallic blue, the truck is equipped with full chassis infill,
skid pans fitted to the bottom of the tanks & a
heavy duty wet kit, all custom built by SB Components. It has been supplied with the R Highline Cab complete with
fridge, flat screen TV/DVD player, DURA-bright alloy
wheels & a Kelsa top bar complete with lamps &
beacons. The tractor unit will be used to pull a new
ejector trailer supplied by JBC (Walsall) to carry waste from
their site at Long Marston to land fill sites all over the country.
Sims
Group have placed an additional order with Keltruck to
supply an 80 ton heavy haulage Scania tractor unit for their site at Swansea
& are also looking at Scania replacements for their 8x4
hook loaders & 4x2 skip loaders.

Scania Consumables Range Launched
Reinforcing its intention to provide a true one-stop shop for as many of its customers as possible, Scania is launching a new range of products known as Scania Consumables.
The programme is backed by a detailed 300-page catalogue and a comprehensive web-browsing/information facility, which is located at
keltruck.com/consumables.
"From tie-wraps to penetrating oil; whether its holding things together or taking them apart again, we can help!" says General Manager Parts Operations, David Hickman. "That's because Scania Consumables embraces a vast number of everyday products; there are currently more than 4,500 items in the range.

Keltruck
Director Returns from Voluntary Work in Rwanda
Marketing
Director, Chris D. Kelly, recently returned from
Rwanda where he spent a fortnight participating in
Project Umubano, the Conservative Party's social
action project for international development.
Chris
worked on a construction project to build a community
& sports centre for widows & orphans of the
1994 Rwandan genocide. Other activists & MPs
worked on health, business, legal & education
projects. The education project was supported by
Keltruck who donated funds for 1,500 dictionaries for English teachers in the third
world country.
